SAP2000 Integrated Seismic + Steel Code Assistant (under development)
Designing a steel building in Turkey normally means flipping back and forth between the 380-page Turkish Seismic Code (TBDY-2018) and the 250-page Steel Structures Code—a drain on both time and attention.
This plug-in embeds the logic of both codes directly inside SAP2000, automating long, repetitive checks and letting engineers concentrate on real design.

The assistant steers every step of the workflow without leaving SAP2000:
Automatically suggests code-compliant structural systems for TBDY and the Steel Code. Creates earthquake, wind, and gravity load combinations with a single click. Performs storey drift and irregularity checks in real time. Runs special checks for high-ductility braced frames (CBF / EBF) in seconds. Issues context-aware warnings on incorrect or missing data, preventing mistakes and teaching the code logic along the way.
